It’s always nice to have homes away from home, they are familiar and comfortable, yet also just foreign enough to be exciting. I had the privilege to spend the night in one of my many home-away-from-homes in Germany. I have quite the cold at the moment and am not too energized, so my time in Leverkusen was just what I needed, even though it was shorter than I would have liked!
But there are few things more delightful that having a package of your favorite candy resting on your pillow. I am so thankful to everyone who has opened their front (and refrigerator) doors to me over the last couple of weeks, it has been so lovely spending time with you all!
